Sultan Forest Rest House

Sultan forest lodge is the first lodge you will come across,when you drive from Dhangari gate to Dhikala Lodge. It is approximately 9 kms inside the Dhikala zone almost on the main road which goes to Dhikala forest rest house from Entry gate. Surrounded by Sal forest it is one of the best place for those who wish to relax in peaceful and serene environment. It is named after Sultan Sot (local seasonal stream) which flows through this region.

With only 2 double bedrooms Sultan Forest lodge is one of the smallest rest house in Dhikala zone of corbett national park.

It provides a kitchen facility with a room attendent. Visitors have to bring the raw ration with them which can be cooked in the kitchen facility.

Sultan rest house can be booked online with 45 days advance notice.

Sultan is recently covered with solar wire fencing.

Both the rooms at Sultan forest rest house have attached spacious washrooms with running water facility with western toilet and wash basin.

There is no electricity in Sultan forest rest house and limited back up is provided through solar panels / invertors.

Rooms at Sultan are basic with No TV’s and AC’s. Limited power supply is there in the rooms by the help of solar panels / Invertors.
